Blackbird Leys Parish Council

Blackbird Leys Parish Council represents the people of Blackbird Leys and Greater Leys. It exists to take practical action on behalf of residents as well as providing a voice for the Leys at higher levels of local government.

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month in the Jack Argent Room, Blackbird Leys Community Centre. They begin at 7.00pm promptly. Meetings include the opportunity for public discussion where you can raise any local issues for the councillors to discuss.

There are currently two vacancies on Blackbird Leys Parish Council. Any resident who feels they have something to offer others on the estate is invited to consider becoming a parish councillor. Roles on the parish council are unpaid but provide a real opportunity to make a difference.

For more information, contact the parish council office on 01865 734346. Office hours are 9am to 5pm, but you can leave a message outside those times and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
